Right to freedom

The citizens of Nepal have got freedom to do certain things. Every citizen of Nepal has got the right to individual liberty. He cannot be deprived of his freedom. Nobody has a right to take the life of a man nor can he kill himself. He has the right to protect his life and to live. Every citizen has the right to give his opinion on any matters. He can give his opinion by speaking or writing or publishing a book. All the citizen are free to gather together or organize a public meeting on any important event. But this gathering or the meeting, should be peaceful. There should be no arms or weapons in the gathering or meeting. Every citizen has the right to join the political parties and unions and associations based on occupations and purposes. Every citizen has the right to join the political party of his choice, or he can form an union or an association to attain his objective. It is because of this right that there are several kinds of old and new political parties and unions and associations based on occupations and purposes. Every citizen has the right to travel all over Nepal. He is free to settle in any part of the country. A student from the Terai has the right to study in Kathmandu. A businessman has the right to set up his business in any part of Nepal. Everyone is free to choose a profession and follow it. Now there are no caste based occupations in our country.
But these rights are not without check. No right has been given to anybody to endanger the sovereignty and integrity of the state. There is no right to disturb the good relations among communities. Similarly, insurrection, disgrace of anybody and contempt of court are crimes, not right. Acts of violence are also forbidden.
