Religious

When we examine the structure of Nepalese social life from the religious point of view, we find that the whole social organization is divided into two major blocks: the Hindu and the Buddhist. There are certain other religious groups like Christian, Muslim, Jains, though the Hindu and Buddhist ways of life play a dominant role.
The modern trend of our democracy is towards secularism. Since the democratic government has been set up in our country, the number of followers of other religions has increased tremendously. The followers of all religions believe in peace, co-operation and co-existence. As such there is no religious clash and the social order has never been disturbed.
